I believe you will find this honest comparison helpful for your next purchase. Here is my ranking of these sets from least to most capable.

1. Merchants of Golf Tour X Pink 3-Piece Junior Golf Complete Set with Stand Bag, Right Hand, Regular
This set earns its ranking because it is the ideal starting point for children just beginning to swing. The limited club count prevents the beginner from feeling overwhelmed on the course.
In my view, the simplified bag and minimal weight make it a manageable entry for the youngest golfers. It lacks the advanced hardware of larger sets, but that is a sensible trade for a newcomer.
Buyers appreciate the lightweight design for small children.
The 3-piece configuration is frequently described as the perfect introduction to the sport.
Users mention the bag fits well on a junior pull cart.

2. Merchants of Golf Tour X 5-Piece Junior Golf Complete Set with Stand Bag, Right Hand, 12+ Age, Graphite, Regular
This 5-piece set is designed specifically for older junior players who have moved past basic mechanics and need more versatility. It offers the right progression for a teenager transitioning toward adult equipment.
I consider this the top overall pick in the entire lineup. It bridges the gap between child-sized clubs and standard gear with impressive effectiveness.
This set is widely regarded as the most complete package for growing teens.
The graphite shafts are noted for providing a balanced, consistent feel.

3. Merchants of Golf Tour X 3-Piece Junior Golf Complete Set with Stand Bag, Right Hand, Graphite, Regular
The most interesting feature here is the graphite shaft construction across all three clubs, which is unusual at this entry-level price point. It helps younger players generate a bit more speed without needing a perfectly refined swing.
I find this to be a solid workhorse for those who need a no-nonsense starter kit. It does not offer much room to grow, but it excels at teaching the fundamentals.
Reviewers often highlight the durability of the club heads for daily practice.
The simplicity of the 3-piece design is a common praise point among new golfers.
Buyers frequently mention that the lightweight construction helps prevent fatigue.

4. Merchants of Golf Tour X 3-Piece Junior Golf Complete Set with Stand Bag, Left Hand, Graphite, Regular
The most common complaint regarding this set is that the left-handed option does not come with the same variety of clubs as its right-handed counterparts. Despite this limitation, it remains a vital inclusion for left-handed juniors who often struggle to find entry-level gear.
I think it is a necessary compromise for families who have few other options. It performs reliably, even if the selection is restricted.
The availability of a left-handed option is the most praised aspect of this specific model.
Users often remark that the build quality matches the right-handed versions perfectly.
The limited club selection is occasionally noted as a minor drawback for developing skills.

5. Tour X Women's LG-28 Package Set - Blue - RH PET L 17PC
Compared to the junior sets, this 17-piece package is a significantly more comprehensive solution for adult golfers. It moves away from the minimalist approach of the junior kits to provide a full range of clubs for the course.
I see this as a serious upgrade for anyone who has outgrown junior-specific equipment. It offers a much higher level of technical support for an adult swing.
The 17-piece count is frequently cited as the biggest benefit for full-course play.
Many buyers appreciate the inclusion of a full bag and headcovers.
Users often mention that the weight distribution is tailored well for the average adult female player.

6. Merchants of Golf Tour X Purple 5-Piece Junior Golf Complete Set with Stand Bag, Right Hand, 12+ Age, Graphite, Regular
This set became popular because of its unique aesthetic, but my assessment shows that its durable construction actually matches that reputation. It is not just about the color, as the 5-piece configuration offers legitimate value for the older junior.
I think the purple branding is a clever touch that does not sacrifice the performance standards of the clubs. It stands as a reliable mid-tier choice.
The colorway is often mentioned as a major selling point for young athletes.
Buyers consistently state that the 5-piece setup is sufficient for most junior tournament play.
Users frequently report that the stand bag is particularly stable on uneven terrain.

7. Merchants of Golf Tour X Pink 5-Piece Junior Golf Complete Set with Stand Bag, Right Hand, 5-7 Age, Graphite, Regular
This set earns its ranking because it provides a perfectly balanced weight for the 5 to 7 age range. It gives young players enough variety to learn different shots without the weight penalty of larger equipment.
I am impressed by how it maintains a sturdy feel while staying light enough for a small child to carry comfortably. It is a well-engineered option for the youngest segment of the market.
Parents regularly praise the club length for being spot-on for 5 to 7 year olds.
The ease of carrying the bag is a common highlight in user reports.
Buyers note the club heads are forgiving for children who are still finding their swing.

Choosing Between Them
I recommend the 5-piece junior set for older players as my top choice, as it offers the most versatility for developing a consistent swing. The 3-piece sets serve young entry beginners and those needing a basic starter kit, while the 17-piece women's set provides a complete solution for adults. I believe matching the set to the player's current stage of physical growth is the most important factor in ensuring long-term enjoyment of the game.
It is helpful to remember that these sets are designed primarily for accessibility rather than technical customization. While they are fantastic for learning, do not expect the level of nuance required for high-level competitive play. Most users find that these sets bridge the gap between learning and mastery very well, despite those inherent limitations.
